Top Tips on Digital Media Apps and Hashtags

A regular question we get asked is what apps we recommend to create interesting and engaging images and videos, so here’s a blog to give you some useful apps we love.

We always try to pick apps that work on both Android and iOS, if not all platforms, so that when we run training on these apps, everyone can see the same settings, screens and functions – also great if you work across multiple devices and platforms for your projects too.

Top Hashtag Tips

And another question we get regularly asked about is hashtags. These little words can help you reach different audiences, widen your reach and engage new markets, so most definitely worth checking out!

Here we thought we’d share some links to useful stuff about hashtags and getting your research on.

You want to bear in mind you should have a range of both long-tail hashtags to target a more niche audience, alongside some of the more popular hashtags for engagement and reach. Using both of these in a hashtag strategy is a good move!

You can use platforms like RiteTag to do your searches, or you can go direct to the platform like Instagram and look at “Related Hashtags” suggestions.

Also, look at which hashtags your competitors or complementary companies are using – what’s working, what’s not?
