Liz Hardwick

I’m Liz Hardwick, a Lancashire lass and passionate Digital Storyteller, on a mission to take the fear out of content generation. I’m a total self-confessed geek and love using technology to give businesses a human side.

Experienced

Since 2002 I have honed my skills as a storyteller, working with organisations ranging from homeless charities to Rolls Royce, and from TV and radio broadcasters to unions, supporting them to create multimedia which wins customers, advocates and gains them valuable and more importantly, affordable publicity. At DigiEnable I work with various sized businesses and not-for-profit organisations to create compelling digital content which gives them the edge in the battle for their customers attention. By helping create exciting and insightful multi-media, you will not only win new customers, but build a stronger and more productive relationship with your existing ones.

Knowledgeable

I graduated from UCLan with a BSc (Hons) Media Production and Technology degree, before later completing an industry professional course in Audio Post Production for TV and Video with the highly acclaimed School of Sound Recording. I’ve also completed a variety of training including a City and Guilds in Training Practice in the Workplace, Introduction to Cyber Security, TCP/IP Networking and Creative Facilitation, that enables me to offer a solid range of advice and support.

Thought Leader

In 2010, I decided to start working as a Freelancer, delivering training courses in using social media and developing high quality content for customers own websites, to clients across the UK. I wanted everyone to understand how digital storytelling can be more effective than most of the traditional marketing being used. In 2012 I teamed up with Darren Jenkinson to create DigiEnable, a company to help businesses grow by offering high quality training and services, to create customer focused content which converts.

I now deliver workshops and give talks across the UK, in subjects such as Productivity, Search Engine Optimisation, Online Promotion, Social Media and Women In Tech. I organise a variety of events and sit on a few different boards and currently the Chair of BECTU’s National Womens Committee. I’m also the founder of PlugInLancs, Diverse Geeks, and co-founded Lancashire’s first Social Media for Women conference in 2013, a published author on Digital Storytelling and keen to support women in(to) Technology.

If you’re a business that would like new customers and increased web traffic, then we should talk.
