You might think “everyone knows digital not” but still 16% of the UK population lack the full digital skills for working life. This series has been created from lots of feedback and is aimed at those who’ve previously struggled to keep up with other training sessions, feel “left behind” or just need a slower pace to learn the basics. We offer a supportive and welcoming atmosphere and suggest a smaller group size than our usual sessions. These sessions can be run stand-alone, however success has been proven when all sessions are promoted together in advance so progression can be seen in advance for those caution or nervous about getting involved. Struggle to know how to search for files, understand what the difference between cloud and local storage is, how to send an attachment, or how to handle basic data safely? Then this session on basic file and online management is for you.

Never used social media before, and don’t know where to begin? Know it’s a valuable tool for business, but don’t know where to put your time and efforts? Then this session on starting out on social media is for you.

Microsoft Office 365 – The Basics (Part of the Build your Confidence with Digital Series)
Still using an old version of a Word Processor or Spreadsheet software? Want to learn how to create documents online? Then this session on the basics of the free online Microsoft Office suite is for you.
Join us for this intro-level, practical session with smaller-than-normal group numbers, in a supportive environment, to gain confidence with the 365 online interface, learn how to create simple Word Documents and Spreadsheets, and understand the range of options available for you to share your documents with others.
