1. Why burnout is one of the biggest threats to your security

Meanwhile, phishing campaigns are growing more sophisticated. Generative AI is making it easier for attackers to craft personalized lures. Infostealers continue to evolve, disguising themselves as login portals or trusted interfaces that lure users into running malicious code. Users often infect themselves, unknowingly handing over credentials or executing code.

2. Google confirms merging Chrome OS and Android into one platform
Chrome OS has long borrowed from Android, starting with Google Play Store integration back in 2016, allowing millions of apps on Chromebooks. If executed right, this could redefine budget computing—stay tuned as we test the first merged devices. For now, it’s a bold step toward a truly connected Google world.
3. WeTransfer issues flurry of promises that it’s not using your data to train AI models after its new terms of service aroused suspicion
When tech tries to hide changes, and then has to do a u-turn… Popular file transfer platform WeTransfer spent a frantic day reassuring users that it has no intention of using any uploaded files to train AI models, after an update to its terms of service suggested that anything sent through the platform could be used for making or improving machine learning tools.
