As you might have gathered if you’ve followed any of our social media, Liz and Darren are keen fans of trying different sports out (attending and watching them that is), and with the spirit of supporting local, they snapped up the opportunity to get involved in the “Hottest Ticket in Town” campaign.
“Local” to DigiEnable, is Chorley and the North West of England, so something we can get behind, but also support and attend locally too is fantastic! Being able to support Chorley Football Club’s Hottest Ticket campaign is great. Pretty much any business, however small can get invovled and there’s some amazing prizes up for grabs too! – Liz Hardwick
Amongst the prizes there’s VIP tables at a variety of different dinners, along with shirt sponsors for the Under 18’s squad, but also different experiences like being a chef for the day, or the CFC Manager for the day (I’m not sure who from DigiEnable would be any good at those ones!), but a great community ethos based way of raising money. With DigiEnable’s background in the third sector, we are proud to sponsor such a clever initiative that is gaining traction and interest from the local business community. We are very proud to support something great in Chorley, and hope our tickets win something! (obviously taking part counts, but we do like to win!)
We heard about the initiative at a recently Magpies Business Networking event, and just thought it was a great opportunity to get involved, meet some other local business owners and support a local community hub. We are enjoying going to the matches now too! – Darren Jenkinson
